CAN bus support tool for UNICAN
We offer the service of installing the UNICAN emulator in the ECU and testing the correctness of immobilizer deactivation on a laboratory stand for €159 excluding taxes (e.g., VAT). The service includes the emulator.
The current hardware version was released at the end of 2024.
An additional open-collector transistor output was added for controlling additional accessories, e.g. a relay or LED / BUZZER output OUT OPT-LINE.
K-BUS/IMMO line communication line was added for future use.
The power supply block was modernised.
Pin descriptions and wire colours have been added to the bottom layer of the printed circuit board.
The current program is selected by writing the BYTE CONFIG VALUE to the address 0x02 in the I2C 24C02 eeprom installed on the emulator PCB.
The Can bus speed program is selected by writing the CANBUS SPEED value byte to the address 0x01 in the I2C 24C02 eeprom installed on the emulator PCB.
For proper operation, the synchronisation data retrieved from the ECU must be stored in the 24c02 memory of this emulator, the address from which we store this data is 0x10.
Four wires should be connected: CAN-H, CAN-L, GND (ground) and +12 V IGN ( terminal „15”) or +12 V after the ECU/ECM relay.
Ensure the connection adheres to the vehicle’s electrical repair schematics.

In order to use this solution, the customer must be qualified as an automotive electronics technician and have the necessary diagnostic tools and wiring diagrams.
In the event of problems and the need for technical support, a CAN bus analyzer will be required in addition to the ECU files, as well as the ability to operate it.
